Hard rockers from Ohio American Dog are proficient in the three B's: beers, broads, and brawling. Did I mention beer swilling, Jack Daniels shooting rock and roll? An essential, yet relatively unknown, commodoity in their own country, American Dog brings another fine platter (make that roadside diner platter) of whole-hearted, gut-level American rock with Mean.

Hellfueled proves, once again, on Emission of Sins that they have a solid formula in place: they're delivering heavier hard rock nearing heavy metal yet with a vibrant melodic vibe and a modern rock sensibility. Even consistency can be a good thing.
