Greek heavy rockers 4Bitten return with their second effort Delirium. They've made a name for themselves over that last several years playing the UK and Europe with likes of the Tygers of Pan Tang, Blaze Bayley, and the Michael Schenker Group.
4Bitten's hard rock leans to the heavier side, with many songs having definable metal. But nothing here is without a strong sense of melody, deep groove, and catchy hooks. Live 4 Today, A Different Fate, and Delirium display these characteristic in fundamental and satisfying form. For pure accessibility, 4Bitten can craft a radio-friendly song like Far From Grace. While self-evident throughout, this song in particular shows the depth of vocalist Fofi Roussos range and strength.
Some songs just rumble with heaviness, like Jaded and Games U Play, while not quite drawing you in as easily as the others. 4Bitten's stumbles on the closer, Not This Time, by adding some unnecessary, annoying, and poorly done hardcore vocals. Creepy album art. Otherwise, Delirium is a solid album of melodic heavier rock. Recommended.
Greece's 4Bitten returns with Delirium, another entertaining platter of heavier melodic hard rock.
