King Bong: Pinng
King Bong Pinng CD Album Review

King Bong: Pinng

Instrumental Stoner Rock
1.0/5.0

It is hard for me to understand why some things happen period. Mosquitos are one example. Skunks are another. Then there is King Bong. For the 35+ minutes that you have to endure to make it through this one song EP you will be sorely tested until you realize that you have just wasted a half hour of precious time on this drivel.

King Bong: deer in the headlights.

Starting out with “borrowed” riffs from the Black Sabbath catalogue and from there descending into a pit of noise and bizarre attempts of musicality, this disc is much better used as a Frisbee trainer for my dog then ever gracing my cd player. There is just nothing here worth the time or the effort. Very few albums do I find that have nothing at all to offer the listener but this is one. Unless you use the bong water as a cocktail, stay away!
